Tommy is widely considered one of the fastest movers in ski racing, and is known for his expertise in giant slalom. He made his World Cup debut in 2009 and has since represented the United States in multiple international competitions, including the Winter Olympics and World Championships. Ford achieved his first World Cup victory in December 2019 in the giant slalom at Beaver Creek, Colorado.
